About Mikey’s Legacy Foundation
Mikey’s Legacy Foundation is a Canadian not-for-profit organization based in British Columbia. Charitable status is currently pending with the Canada Revenue Agency. All funds are collected and administered by the Foundation in support of its mission.
The Foundation was created to turn purpose into meaningful impact by supporting registered charities and aligned initiatives that make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
Built on care, intention, and accountability, the Foundation is committed to ensuring every contribution is used thoughtfully and responsibly in support of its mission.
Mike was the kind of person who made people feel welcome the moment he walked into a room. His quick wit, genuine kindness, and infectious smile meant he was someone others naturally gravitated toward. Whether he was with family, friends, or out on a run, Mike brought energy, warmth, and connection wherever he went. He was a devoted father, son, brother, husband, and friend. Running was one of the things he loved most—a way to challenge himself, clear his mind, and connect with others. Like so many people, Mike also carried struggles that were not always visible. His story is a powerful reminder that mental health challenges can affect anyone, even those who appear strong and full of life.
